Just two of the many performers in the Bill Pickett Rodeo.  I spoke with several of the cowboys and girls and they say that it is hard work.  "You get hurt a lot"  but they love what they do.

This cowboy tries to perform one of the more dangerous acts of the rodeo by transistioning from his horse to the back of this steer and tying its legs in record time
     
  
A defiant steer that perhaps has a sense of humor  by refusing to go along with the show leaving this cowboy empty handed. It is clear by the rider's face and those of the cowboys in background that this was not part of the show
  
In this particular event in the rodeo it is crucial the horse know that once the calf is roped it is his cue to put on the brakes.  This horse did just that
